As 2013 draws to a close, and we enjoy time with our families, friends, and those that are nearest to our hearts, I find myself feeling thankful for the wonderful community that is fostered here at the Portland Airport. Recently, Travel+Leisure magazine conducted a comprehensive reader survey about US airport services and facilities, and it’s no surprise to me that Portland was ranked first. PDX was consistently given the highest marks, based on on-time flights, cleanliness, easy transportation to and from the airport, unique shopping and dining facilities, and overall ambience, because every one of the 10,000+ employees that make PDX what it is are so friendly and ready to help a passenger with whatever they need.
