What's in the bottle

No water. No filler. Nothing for show.

01

Twenty-four botanicals

And nothing else. There's no water, so it needs no emulsifier and no preservative either. Every drop is plant material.

02

The Plant is the scent

No synthetic fragrances. What you smell is Bulgarian rose absolute gathered by hand, Egyptian geranium, and warm resin.

03

made at altitude

Composed a mile above the sea, where hard sun and dry air spend all day taking what skin needs. Built for the hardest conditions we know.

04

Five antioxidants

Rosemary, tocopherols, CoQ10, astaxanthin, and bakuchiol. Five different mechanisms, each guarding the skin against daily stress.

A letter

From Briana and Peter

After twenty-three years of running spas, we have tried nearly every facial oil on the market. Most of them do very little. A few, nothing at all. None of them had the transformative properties that we wanted to offer in our spas.

So Peter went to the bench. A doctor of East Asian medicine, he has spent over thirty years watching how skin answers to what plants offer. He's been working on this formula for fifteen years: twenty-four botanicals, each one tested, refined, and tested again. Nothing added for appearance and nothing left out that belongs.

There's no water in it, no filler, no oil chosen to keep costs down. The frankincense and myrrh go in as resin, dissolved whole into oil the way the old texts describe.

We've been using it morning and night, sharing it with our loved ones first, and then our clients. The results and the feedback have both been remarkable. It's the reason we're finally making it available to the public.

The first batch is small, because the ingredients are rare. Some of them take a ton of hand-picked fruit for a single liter. We'd rather make a small but incredible batch than lower our standards to produce more, so we're filling one run, seeing how far it goes, and starting the next.

If you'd like to be there when it opens, put your name on the list. We'll write to you first.

ingredients make Sol Ora Special

Every plant chosen. Every drop earned.

Frankincense & Myrrh

The sacred resins of the ancient world, traded once against their weight in gold, steeped whole into oil the way the classical texts prepare them.

Rosehip Seed Oil

The most-studied oil in skincare, rich in the exact fats a healthy barrier is built from. The largest single ingredient in the bottle.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil

Roughly a ton of hand-picked fruit, grown in the North African sun, for a single liter of oil. Denser in vitamin E than argan.

Bakuchiol

The botanical Ayurveda kept for skin for two thousand years, here at twice the concentration of the study that made its name.

Astaxanthin

The deep red an alga makes to survive light that would finish most living things. The most costly gram in the formula.

And nineteen more

Pomegranate, sea buckthorn, black cumin, calendula, Bulgarian rose absolute, olive squalane. The full list goes on the bottle.

No water · No filler · No synthetic fragrance
