Alison Alvarez, LMT
Alison’s path into bodywork began after experiencing burnout — not just from the pace of life, but from living in ways that didn’t feel true to her. This led her to explore intuitive studies, natural medicine, yoga, and Thai massage, and in 2021 she became a licensed massage therapist. Her early work focused on supporting clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents and whiplash. She later spent nearly two years in Costa Rica as a teaching assistant at an international massage school, where she refined her hands-on skills, strengthened her intuitive touch, and deepened the way she holds space for every client.
Her sessions are rooted in a myofascial approach to therapeutic massage, guided by an intuitive awareness of the nervous system. She meets each person where they are — whether seeking relief from tension, restoration from discomfort, or simply a moment of stillness — creating a practice that resonates with every body and intention. At the heart of her work is the knowing that silence and presence connect us to our essence. Alison holds space for clients to experience that pause, a subtle yet powerful return to themselves.
Outside the treatment room, Alison lives close to the earth through music, travel, and natural, authentic living. She sees healing not just as the release of tension, but as an ongoing practice of remembering what is real, grounded, and whole.
