Portland Day Spa FAQ

Please arrive at least 15 - 20 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. This will allow you time to check in and prepare for your service. You may also want to enjoy the sauna prior to your treatment. Late arrivals will cause services to be cut short and will be charged in full.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% charge, as this time is reserved specifically for you and supports our practitioners’ valuable work. To avoid charges, regardless of circumstances, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are subject to a 100% charge.

• Guests 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, including during treatments.
• Guests ages 16-17 may receive treatments without a parent or guardian in the room, but a parent or guardian must remain on the premises for the duration of the visit.

If your child does not have an appointment, please do not bring them with you as we do not offer day care facilities.

Our goal is to give you the best service possible. Please let us know your specific needs and treatment goals so we can address them.

Wear what is comfortable; we will provide you with a robe and sandals for your treatments. Our staff is trained to drape you appropriately for privacy during your treatments.

Please do not bring any valuables, such as jewelry, to the Spa. The Spa is not responsible for any lost items while at the facility.

The Dragontree is a cell phone free facility. Please do not bring your phone with you so we can ensure you and other clients are able to completely enjoy your treatments and relax. If you must bring it with you, please turn it off to maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the spa.

We ask that all of our clients respect our sanctuary by keeping conversation to a minimum and turning off your cell phone. We invite you to deeply relax, quiet your mind, and let go.

We believe in choosing therapies that are appropriate to the recipient and the terrain they live in. In our low altitude Pacific Northwest location, we chose to install a dry sauna in order to help our patrons combat the congestive effects of pervasive dampness and mold.

A 30 minute session is included with all full body massages and facials. We always suggest using the sauna prior to your appointment to get the best benefit of relaxing and loosening muscle. Clients receiving Sangha Room treatments may also use the sauna for an additional $10. A sauna-only visit is $20.

We encourage our clients to find the therapist that best fits their needs and request them for their services. If you have a preference for a male or female therapist for your services please inform us of your preference when you make your appointment.

We love having people for special gatherings in our Sangha room!

Once you decide to join us, we’ll work together and create an experience that best fits your needs. For large groups services may be limited due to space and staff availability, but we have many ideas on how to make things work…so let’s chat! For groups of 6 or more a 20% gratuity will be added.

You are welcome to bring beverages of your choice and we will provide glasses.

Our Sangha room is a sanctuary of peace, and we ask that all parties support this tranquility by respecting other clients receiving services throughout the spa.

We happily accept returns for spa credit ONLY on all products within 30 days of purchase. Gift certificates are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another person or used for different services or products. No exceptions.

We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover credit cards. Gratuities are graciously accepted and are not included in the price of services. A credit card guarantee is required when scheduling your spa services. Please note we do not accept SpaFinder or SpaWish.

An ideal gift for any occasion. You may purchase gift certificates at the spa, online, or over the phone. Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for cash and are non-refundable. The Dragontree Spa is not responsible for lost, stolen, or any unauthorized card use.
