These black tourmaline spheres feel wonderfully heavy and potent in the hand, and are about the size of a baseball. Black tourmaline is a grounding stone used to repel and protect against negative energies. It’s considered to improve physical vitality, emotional stability, and promote a sharp mind. It is said to connect the base chakra to the center of the Earth. It is also thought to be helpful for dispelling “dark” and confused mental states. 

These spheres are approximately 2.8 inches in diameter and weigh 453-487 grams (1 pound or just over). They do not come with a stand, but all sorts of circular items work well to keep them from rolling away (hair tie, bottle cap, ring, a short piece of pipe, etc). 

Please note: Crystals are natural products of the Earth. As such, they vary. Some may have internal cracks, small chips, hazy areas, varying colors, "phantom" shapes inside, rainbows (diffraction), and other variations. We have personally chosen and examined every one, and found them all to meet our high personal standards. Often, we find the qualities that would be considered "imperfections" from the standpoint of a jeweler to be exactly what makes a certain crystal especially unique and potent. We don't have the ability to allow you to choose a particular crystal, but offer these photos as representative sample of the batch we have, and we trust that you'll get the crystal that's right for you.
