Rose quartz is a supportive motherly stone that is often used as an "emotional support" crystal. Holding it wearing it, or keeping it in one's environment is thought to help one recognize, understand, and release deep, stuck emotions. It is considered calming and gentle, and is said to promote self-love and to foster peace and calm in love relationships. Placed on the heart center, it is said to help the heart open. 

These spheres are large and substantial. They feel wonderfully heavy in the hand or on the body. They also look nice supported on a table or shelf (you can use any open circular object to keep them from rolling, such as a bottle lid). 

These spheres are available in two sizes. 
A size: about 2.5 inches in diameter, about 380 grams (over three-quarters of a pound) 
B size: about 3 inches in diameter, about 450 grams (slightly larger than a baseball and weighing a pound)

Please note: Crystals are natural products of the Earth. As such, they vary. Some may have internal cracks, small chips, hazy areas, varying colors, "phantom" shapes inside, rainbows (diffraction), and other variations. We have personally chosen and examined every one, and found them all to meet our high personal standards. Often, we find the qualities that would be considered "imperfections" from the standpoint of a jeweler to be exactly what makes a certain crystal especially unique and potent. We don't have the ability to allow you to choose a particular crystal, but offer these photos as representative sample of the batch we have, and we trust that you'll get the crystal that's right for you.
