Don't Postpone the Sweetness

Don't Postpone the Sweetness

on

There's a phrase I've been saying for years - in workshops, to friends, sometimes just to myself when I'm about to skip the one thing that would actually nourish me.

Don't postpone the sweetness.

I don't know about you, but some mornings I open my eyes and already feel the weight of everything waiting.

The inbox.

The texts from overnight.

The scroll that has no bottom.

There's always more than I can hold.

And in all of that keeping up, something keeps getting set aside.

Usually it's the sweetness.

We tell ourselves it'll come later.

After the project is done.

After we've earned it.

But later has a way of never arriving.

Peter and I wrote The Well Life around three pillars that together make a life genuinely good - not just managed. Sweetness, Structure, and Space. What we've seen over and over is that most people have solid structure. But their structure doesn't leave room for sweetness. And without it, you're moving, but you're not living.

Sweetness is the slow cup of tea you actually drink while it's hot.

The creative thing you make just because you love it.

The moment you stop and feel the actual goodness of your own life.

And the practice of building it in deliberately - a little every day - is what changes everything.

Which is exactly why I love our brand new Two Moon Star Chartso much.

You pick one practice - one thing you want to build into your life, one way of being you want to embody. Write it at the top. Then mark a star each day you show up.

Two moon cycles. 56 days. The chart lives somewhere you can see it, and that visibility - that daily ritual of acknowledging yourself - is one of the most effective ways to actually follow through.

And it genuinely feels good.

The milestone markers at days 14, 28, and 42, the moment at day 56 where you land on "Devoted. Complete." and stop to celebrate… It's all designed to make your becoming feel like something you look forward to, not something you muscle through.

That's sweetness as a practice. Growth that feels like a ritual instead of a grind. A small act of nourishment, for yourself, every day.

The Two Moon Star Chart is here when you're ready to bring some sweetness into your life.

Love,

Briana
