Modern life asks a lot of us.
We wake to alarms instead of light. We move from screen to screen. We push through tiredness, override our intuition, and expect ourselves to show up the same way every single day, no matter what is happening inside us.
And yet, our bodies have not changed as quickly as our world has.
We are still cyclical beings. Our energy rises and falls. Our focus comes and goes. There are moments when we feel expansive and clear, and others when everything feels quieter, heavier, or more inward. None of this is a problem, unless we tell ourselves it is.
For most of human history, the moon was how people made sense of time. It was visible. Shared. Reliable. You could look up and know where you were in the month, and often, how you might feel.
Somewhere along the way, we stopped looking up.
The moon did not stop influencing us. We just lost the habit of noticing.
What I love about the moon is that it makes room for change. It shows us that there is nothing wrong with being full and bright one moment, and dark and quiet the next. That rest is not something you earn after doing enough, but a natural part of every cycle.
The full moon gets all the attention. It is dramatic. It is obvious. But most of life happens in the in between. The waxing and waning. The subtle shifts. The slow becoming. These are the places where real change takes root, even when it is not visible yet.
Over the years, we started to notice something in our own lives.
When we were aware of the lunar rhythms, when we knew where the moon was in its cycle, we were gentler with ourselves. We pushed less during the darker phases. We trusted momentum more when the energy was there. Without trying to follow rules or do anything perfectly, we felt more oriented. More patient. More at ease inside the natural rise and fall of things.
That awareness changed how our days felt.
And that is what led Peter to create something new this year.
He designed and screenprinted a Moon Phase Calendar by hand, slowly and with great care. Each one is signed and numbered.
There are only 400 in existence. It is not meant to be a tool to optimize your life, but a quiet companion for the year ahead. Something you can hang where you will see it often. Something that gently reminds you where you are in the larger rhythm of things.
Having the moon visible in your space changes how time feels.
You begin to notice patterns. When it is easier to begin. When it feels better to pause. When letting go comes more naturally. You stop asking yourself to be the same every day, and start allowing yourself to live in phases.
You do not need to believe anything specific for this to be meaningful. You do not need to do it perfectly. Simply noticing is enough.
Noticing the moon.
Noticing yourself.
Noticing how the two move together over time.
Peter’s 2026 Moon Phase Calendar is a limited edition of 400, with fewer than 100 remaining. For a short time, it is available at 25% off.
If you feel called to bring a little more rhythm, softness, and perspective into your year, this calendar is an invitation. Not to do more, but to remember something very old and very steady.
The moon is still here, and it still matters.
