An Ayurvedic (traditional Indian) massage that utilizes warm oils chosen specifically for your constitution, and choreographed patterns designed to circulate energy and clear blockages.
The skin is fed generous amounts of oil from head to toe - as it is considered to penetrate, lubricate, nourish, and soothe our deepest parts. Compared to traditional Swedish massage, Abhyanga focuses less on the muscles and more on the skin, lymphatic and circulatory systems, marma points (the Ayurvedic equivalent of acupuncture points) and nadis (energy channels).
A balance of invigorating, relaxing, and detoxifying techniques. This massage is traditionally done with the chest undraped, but (based on your preference) can easily be modified with the chest covered.
