The salt room is part of the complete Sanctuary experience on Broadway in Boulder, alongside the cedar sauna, cedar hot tub, steam room, cold plunges, and forest showers.

What to expect in the salt room
Halotherapy simply means resting in a room where fine, dry salt is dispersed into the air. Visit the salt room whenever you feel drawn to a quieter moment. Begin your session here to arrive more fully, pause between rounds of heat and cold, or return at the end to let the experience settle.
Your 90-minute Sanctuary Session gives you the freedom to move slowly and follow what feels most restorative.

After the sauna, steam room, or hot tub, the salt room offers a peaceful place to cool down before your next experience. Let your breathing soften, notice the warmth lingering in your body, and take all the time you need.
A few Sanctuary notes
Swimwear is required in communal spaces, and guests shower before entering. The Sanctuary is phone-free and welcomes guests ages 16 and older.
Reserve your Sanctuary Session
A 90-minute Sanctuary Session is $67, with a weekday rate of $47 Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Guests booking a massage or spa treatment of 60 minutes or longer may add a Sanctuary Session for $20.

Halotherapy means resting in a room where micro-aerosolized salt is dispersed into the air. You sit or recline, breathe, and rest. At The Dragontree Boulder, the salt room is part of every Sanctuary Session.
What do I do in the salt room?
Nothing at all. Sit or recline, close your eyes, and breathe. Many guests meditate there, or use it to rest between rounds of heat and cold.
Is the salt room included in a Sanctuary Session?
Yes. Every 90-minute Sanctuary Session includes the cold plunges, cedar hot tub, cedar sauna, steam room, salt room (halotherapy), and forest showers. Sessions are $67, or $47 Mon-Thurs, 9a-4p. You can also add a Sanctuary Session to your 60 minute (or longer) treatment for $20.
What should I bring?
Swimwear is required in all communal spaces. If you don't have appropriate clothing, speak to a Sanctuary attendant. Please do not bring any valuables, such as jewelry, to the Sanctuary. We'll provide a towel and sandals.
